The Borujerdians House is of Kashan’s historical monuments. This building is located in the Sultan Mir Ahmad quarter and it is built in the second half of the 13th Hijri century and in the Qajar era and it has registered under the number 1083 in the country’s national monuments list. This house displays one of the most beautiful Iranian architecture manifestations by the beautiful crescent symmetrical wind catchers on the hall’s roof and a pergola on it. So that it has come on inscription of four sides of the hall that the building history dates back to 1292 BC.
This house’s valuable paintings and plasterworks have been painted under the Sani-ol-molk, the great Iranian painter and Kamal-ol-molk’s uncle. The owner of this house has been Haj Seyed Mehdi Natanzi among Natanz’s businessmen residing in Kashan and its architect has been Master Ali Maryam Kashani. He has become known because of his many trips to Borujerd city. He was in loved of Seyed Jafar Tabatabai’s girl, one of the largest carpet merchants and Mr. Tabatabai also makes a condition for his consenting to their marriage. He was lived in a very beautiful house which in knows as the Tabatabaian’s house now and he says to Seyed Mehdi that you must build a house like my house in order to get my daughter marriage with you. Seyed Mehdi also agrees his condition and he inhabited in the house after 7 years that the inner courtyard is completed and also after 11 years the main hall is completed. The Borujerdian House is Kashan’s Cultural Heritage Administration now.
The Kashan’s historical Borujerdians House was selected as UNESCO top selection in terms of tourism attraction popularity in 2015 and 2016.
