Having a gym and a pool is no longer going to be a tipping point in trying to persuade a prospective buyer to pull the trigger and commit to buying a given unit. However, a sky pool (a transparent pool suspended between buildings multiple stories in the air) is another story entirely.
Buyers of luxury apartments and condos want to be blown away with the amenities offered; helipads, underground drive-in lobbies, Turkish baths, hotel rooms for guests, and dog runs are all at the top of the list for what buyers desire.
Gimmick-themed approaches are a thing of the past with the new normal being amenities that are intended to improve the quality of life of residents. Health focused spas and wellness areas, circadian lighting systems, and advanced air and water filtration and humidification systems are all important. The goal for many of these high-end communities is to make the residents feel like they are waking up every day in a resort-like facility with each and every amenity either improving their quality of life or making their daily routine more efficient.
