There are many mini-kitchens out there , but this concept does not just save space. Rather , it is a kitchen , storage , washing-up station , and it promotes sociability.
All in one , easy to adapt from one home to the next , this new kitchen concept by Belgrade design studio dsignedby (established in 2008 by sisters Irena and Iva Kilibarda) presents a real alternative to ordinary mini-kitchens , not least because Kitch’T incorporates a dining table.
The foundation of the concept , which was distinguished with this year’s Iconic Award and has been nominated for the German Design Award 2017, is a Corian DuPont countertop combined with the T® table. The whole thing measures 365 x 92 x 90 centimeters.
Everything is integrated here , from the fridge to the dishwasher to the stovetop (all from Bosch). The lower elements are accessible from both sides of the table. There are no handles to impede leg room for those seated around the table. The solid oak doors and drawers are equipped with Softtouch openers by Häfele.
With its clear design and the greatest degree of functionality , this concept has a good chance of catching on.
