The Japan Space Agency is intended to build automated construction machinery for using in other planets in cooperation with “Kajima” Construction Company.

As Khane.com reports quoting Gizmag, this organization intends to use the robotic constructions to help building the human settlements on Mars or the Moon.

The “Kajima” Construction Company has already tested an automated construction system in Japan. The A4CSEL allows the people transfer the instructions to equipped machinery to GPS and accelerometer by using of tablet. This devise has already been used to build dams in the provinces of Fukuoka and Oita.

The “Kajima” Company intends to design a new software that allows the machinery connect with each other so that don’t collide to each other and don’t repeat each other’s work.

The Japan Space Agency also has contracted with the Industrial Construction Company “Taguchi” to manufacture the lightweight machinery that they are carried easier into space.

The Europe, Russia and NASA Space Agency had already announced their plans for extraterrestrial bases.

The Europe Space Agency hopes that it can prepare these machinery to build the settlements for 4 to 6 people by 2030 on the Moon and by 2040 on Mars.
